I had the great privilege of chatting with Buster B. Jones for a while this evening, and decided it’s about time I dedicated a tune or two to him. He has been an enormous influence on my playing and I have learned a lot from his teaching DVDs, and hope to learn more.
So, I am dedicating the following two tunes to Buster, one of which I wrote just to dedicate to him (I’ve been tinkering with it for about a week). Of course I hope you enjoy these tunes, too.

Hey brother… excellent tunes. For those of you that do not know me, I am Bruce's younger brother David. Without sounding biased, I have always loved the way he and my now deceased dad work their talent with a guitar. I have truly been blessed by both of them. I was fortunate enough to take my dad to the Healdsburg, California Guitar Festival in 2002 where he met both Buster B. Jones and Thom Bresh. Although I enjoyed talking to Buster and Thom myself, it was truly an experience for my dad that I will never forget and always cherish. I've never seen him so proud and telling all of his friends that he got to meet two of the finest guitar players on this planet. I am so glad that he got to meet them before he passed away in 2003. So Buster if you happen to read this, thank you for the memories and Bruce, thank you for the tunes and the opportunity to voice our feelings/emotions.
