One June 3, Microsoft will unveil Bing, its new search platform. (Note: viewing the linked pages requires installation of Microsoft’s Silverlight plugin.) I had hoped to get on the pre-release review of Bing, because it looks very interesting. But, alas, I too have to wait until Monday to try it out.
I doubt that Bing will eat very much into Google’s search dominance, but it is good to see alternatives. Innovation and alternatives are good for all of us.
