Although this week continues to be a very busy one for me (wrap-up phase of a consulting project), I managed to sneak in reading a few articles that you may find interesting:
- The Official Google Blog notes that they are rolling out offline availability of Google Docs. I have been wanting to see this for some time, and my hat is off to the Google Team for making it happen!
- James Kendrick has a good write-up on why there is no perfect mobile device, noting that size does matter.
- Chris Leckness mentions that the Palm Centro has had over a million units.
- Adam Pash mentions how to sync notes to your iPhone or iPod Touch. This involves doing a jailbreak of the device, something I have not done yet, but he also mentions how that can be done easily and quickly. (If and when I do jailbreak my Touch, I’ll let you know how it goes.)
- And, speaking of syncing, Gina Trapani talks about free ways to sync folders between computers.
- And, a final one on syncing: Sarah Parez mentions the use of Fusecal to sync any calendar to any calendar. Sounds like some very promising software.
- Jonathan Mead has an interesting write-up on inner versus outer motivation. Some interesting points.
- Management Guru Tom Peters has released a lot of free material on his website. One that I recently downloaded and found interesting is his Excellence for the Rest of Us: a Book for Real People, available via this link (The name of the post in which he introduces the book is Wrong. Thirty Times Over.) You may also want to check out Tom’s Free Stuff section … looks like he has a lot of good material there.
Well, to avoid loading you up with too many articles, I’ll call it quits on the links for now. I’ll post some more interesting next week (sooner if I come across a bunch of great ones).

Your link to the Tom Peters book is broken. I went to his site (and downloaded a number of his free PDFs) but cannot find the “Excellence for the Rest of Us” book. It sounds interesting, though… could you check the link?
Thanks Heather. I fixed it. Turns out I had used a trackback link instead of a permalink. Thanks for catching this.
