Palm Wants Reviewers for its Palm Pre

Palm Pre In case you haven’t heard, Palm is actively seeking reviewers of its Palm-Pre device. Selected reviewers will get a Palm-Pre and free service for 6 months.

I applied to be a reviewer this morning, and if selected will provide several reviews of it here at Keener Living. Palm is looking for people who will provide their reviews via some form of social media, be that a blog or Facebook or whatever. I would suppose that those with bigger audiences have a better chance, but I certainly do not know that to be the case. They may well be looking for a good mixture of “the general public.”

It is not clear to me how long the application period lasts. Also a bit unclear to me: whether you get to keep the Pre for longer than the 6 months worth of free service. But, even if you do not, it still looks like this would be a lot of fun. There is high expectation for this device, and it would be very interesting to get first-hand experience with it.

If you are interested in being a reviewer, you can fill out this short questionnaire.

I have signed up as well, Bruce. I hope that you get a unit to evaluate. I think that you do a very detailed analysis of how productive these type of devices can be. I look forward to your insight on WebOS devices. I bet if you put together a review, it would be much like your iPod Touch review, which is excellent!

Hi Thomas, I just happened to be visiting the site when you commented … hence you get a speedy reply :)

I hope we both get one to review. I’d love to see you do a review.

Thanks for the upcheck on the iPod Touch review. It is by far the most popular page on my site. I think a lot of that has to do with all the quality comments from smart folks like you and a number of others who have pitched in with good useful comments.

Anywho, thanks for stopping by. Good luck with getting a Pre to review.
