Paul really does a great job of detailing his setup. I enjoy a lot of his posts.

Great links, Bruce. On Paul's link, I don't know why, but I love articles that detail how someone's workflow or setup works. Even those Flickr groups that show what's in a person's gear bag or their desk setup just fascinate me. I think it is because I sometimes find neat tips or ideas by seeing those types of items.

Hi Capo,

Good to hear from you again. I have heard of TiddlyWiki but not Springnote ... I'll look it up. Neat to build in iPhone support.

You are sure right about Palm's lack of innovation, and that they are a specific case of a general rule. Too bad they didn't innovate.

regarding Wiki for personal use - I used TiddlyWiki for a while - very small and highly portable. Recently I've switched over to Springnote and am very happy with it. It has a great iPhone interface (as well as an excellent standard web 2.0 interface).
The demise of Palm has been a sad one. I was a Palm user back when they were called Palm Pilots. It's a familiar story though. Innovation is survival. Stop innovating and eventually competition eats your lunch, the money well runs dry and you dry up and blow away.
