Kindle Gets an Update

Version 2 of Amazon’s wireless reading device, the Kindle, is now available. David Pogue has an interesting review of it in the New York Times:

I am very pleased with my Version 1 Kindle, especially now that there is a free software update available for it. For Kindle owners, just go into Settings, and from the menu select the Update Software option, and the 1.2 software update downloads and installs nicely. This update gives you the ability to view ebook pictures in a zoomed format, which is very nice.
