Jiffy Jam

Here’s a recording I put together tonight: Jiffy Jam

This is a complicated Jerry Reed composition that I haven’t played in years, until this week. I changed a few little things here and there to make it easier on my tender fingers (a problem when you no longer play every day).

It’s an up-beat little ditty, and I hope you like it.

Note: The full collection of my free recordings is available at this link.

just one question – how many fingers do you have on your left hand…? ;-)

Leave it to a fellow musician to pick up on how complicated that little piece really is. Just 5 fingers on each hand, of course, but they are pretty busy throughout that little tune. Interesting thing is I made more errors on the “easy parts” than on the more difficult parts. Go figure.
