Thought I’d share a couple of links before I begin my weekend:
- Fellow Georgia Tech Alumni Georgia Susan shares some interesting snapshots of Kindle versus Pocket PC e-reading, and speaks very favorably on the quality the Kindle reading experience. If you are considering a Kindle, this is one the links you’ll want to check out.
- Tim O’Reilly’s iPhone vs BlackBerry article is a bit dated at this point, but still relevant and I think well-thought-out. I fully agree with Tim’s conclusion, quoted below.
“… power users are a minority, and while they point the way to the future, they tend to be disappointed when the rest of the market catches up with an inferior product that has a lower barrier to new users.
So, my prediction: the Blackberry will become more like the iPhone, or the iPhone and its imitators will eventually eat its lunch, relegating it to a niche player. The iPhone is now the communications device to beat.”
Have a great weekend folks!
