Wow, you read the full LifeHacker feed? I can hardly keep up with the top posts.
I don’t mean to criticize Amazon; I think more consumer choice is good, but I can’t imagine using that myself. The security of having the physical CD is well worth the extra $2 to me. What are the chances the DRM will let me access TurboTax 2008 in 5 years when I need to revise my 1040?
Good points, Jeremy … hadn’t thought about the DRM aspects, but interesting to think about.
I try to stay up with the Lifehacker feeds, but they are too much at times. Every once in a while though they have a really great post that makes it worth the hassle.
