Good Practices for Everyone

My article on ADHD (or ADD) has become very popular, and I’m grateful for that, of course.

But, in reading it again myself this morning, it struck me that it offers some advice that is good advice for everyone, not just those with ADD:

  • Reduce TV and electronics. Be the master of your devices, not their slave.
  • Get adequate protein, Omega 3, and antioxidants.
  • Do what you’re good at, not what you’re bad at: delegate what you’re bad at as much as you can.
  • Get well-enough organized to achieve your goals. The authors emphasize “well-enough.” That doesn’t mean becoming another David Allen or Steven Covey or some other time management guru … just good enough to achieve your goals.

(These are some key points from a book I have on ADD.)

Your thoughts?

There is a program called Outlook Track-It, which is great for GTD. It’s a followup reminder as a plugin. You won’t forget to follow up to emails if you have it. Other than that – I am open to all forms of online organization.

    Bacarli,
Sounds good. Sounds like it might be a lighter weight version of the GTD Addin for Outlook, perhaps.

    Thanks for the comment.
