eWallet, a program for securely storing sensitive information, is now available for BlackBerry. Regulars have heard me mention eWallet many times: it is a very useful program to have, and I am delighted to see it ported to the BlackBerry operating system.
My week began with an email conversation with fellow guitarist Larry regarding the playing of Amazing Grace in the chord of G. Since I haven’t played it in that chord in a long while, I decided to record a version in G. And, for good measure, I threw in a verse in E, and added my own arrangement of I Am A Pilgrim to the end of it, creating a gospel medley:
I almost did not upload this. Because I do not have any background accompaniment (my dogs don’t play musical instruments), I tend to add filler notes on slower songs, to fill the space between the tune’s notes. I did that a few times in the early part of this recording, and I don’t much care for how it turned out. I really need to have some accompaniment for some recordings. Oh well. I hope you enjoy it anyway … it does get better the farther into the tune you go. (Some fans of Amazing Grace may prefer my earlier recording of it from about a year ago: Amazing Grace in D).
