Just moments ago, I downloaded Dragon Dictation and began using it on my iPhone. It was not perfect in converting my short message to text, but it did pretty good:

After days of asking and searching I was given a very slick way to transfer Calendar/Contacts. Back up Palm data somewhere safe. Uninstall Palm completely. Reinstall and choose Outlook as your sync program.
