Just came across an article in Yahoo! news that says that Apple’s Boot Camp Beta will expire when the Leopard OS is released (the link is now broken, which is why I no longer link to the article).
I use Boot Camp on my iMac to provide a partition for Windows XP Pro, which I access through VMware Fusion. So now I learn that I will either have to upgrade to Leopard (which I would probably have done anyway), or use VMware Fusion to do a fresh install of Windows.
And while I do not yet own an iPhone, it upsets me how Apple is taking a stance on locking out iPhone third party apps.
I love my iMac. I love my iPod. And, I guess if had an iPhone I would love it, too. But Apple’s policies leaving me scratching my head: are they trying to keep people from liking them? Has Bill Gates paid Steve Jobs a few billion to sabotage Apple? What’s going on here?
