Well, one more little tune and then I’ll hush up for a few days:
All The Lonely People (Eleanor Rigby)
I always loved the Beatles music. This tune was one of my favorites. A fairly complicated one to play, but, what’s life without a challenge or two, eh?
Enjoy it.
Note: The full collection of my free recordings is available at this link.
That’s probably the most unique take I think I’ve heard of Eleanor Rigby. Not quite as solemn as the original, but still a bit wistful. Chet would be proud. Is that your own arrangement?
Thank you verrry, much, capo! Yes, that’s my arrangement. I’ve had it in my head the past couple of days and finally decided to give it whirl. A little complicated to play, but I enjoyed.
Thanks for mentioning the correct name of the tune … I had forgotten what it was really called. I’ll update the post.
Thanks again. I love when my music is enjoyed.
“I love when my music is enjoyed”
Besides, I think that’s a really original arrangement.
I know the feeling, so I try to pass it on when I can.
Thank you again capo!
Wow Bruce,
I tried to teach myself guitar (classical guitar) once
Just how many of you are there on that track? Or do you have three hands? Don’t be ashamed to admit if you were born with three hands. It makes you special. But if that was just your two mitts on that guitar, all I can say is — Wow!
I loved it, so I Stumbled it in “music” tags so that others might also get to enjoy it.
Thanks,
John
Thank you, John, for the compliments and for the Stumble … maybe the latter will send a music lover this way that likes my pickin’
Yes, just my two mitts on one track … no dual-track gimmickry or anything of that sort. But, then I have been playing since I was a pup.
Thank you again.
Your arrangement is at once unique and true to the spirit of the original. It is recongizable yet fresh. Plus I envy your facility with the guitar. Very nice technique.
Thank you very much Bill.
