Spotlighting a Couple of Online Buddies

Just calling your attention to a couple of new sites that really impress me:

  • Simple Mom, an excellent site with lifehacks for home managers.
  • The Thesis Theme, a remarkable WordPress theme by the fantastic designer Chris Pearson.

While Simple Mom is intended primarily for home managers, it has some great lifehacks advice that can be applied by anyone. It is a very useful site, and I also love how well-designed it is. She’s done an amazing job customizing Chris Pearson’s Thesis theme, the same theme I use here at Keener Living, and I love to visit her site to admire her handiwork as well as to see what I can learn (or reinforce) in the way of lifehacks.

Regulars have heard me mention Chris’ Thesis Theme before. I wanted to call your attention to it again because Chris has a special that lasts to August 31: buy Thesis and get his forthcoming Cosmo Theme for free. Cosmo will be a magazine-style design, a format that is becoming very popular. If you are a WordPress blogger, please take the time to review the link above to see what Thesis (and Cosmo) offer. The customization capability is unparalleled, as are the aesthetics. Be sure to check out the Spotlighted Themes to get a sense of how customizable Thesis is.

If you use the link above to buy Thesis, I make a little commission from it, which is nice, because I do like money. :) But, regulars know me well enough to know: I only promote what I believe in.

As a final note on links, I’ve added a few more to the “links” tab in the navigation menu. I try to keep a really useful list of resources in that list, and to offer some variety in subject matter. If you have a favorite link that you think should be added, let me know (brucekeener at gmail.com) and I’ll look at adding it. Of course I have to believe in it, too, before I add it, but I have no doubt that there are a lot of useful links that I have overlooked.
