I recently shared with you my thoughts of moving to a different server. After analyzing the problem, I had talked myself out of it. Until today. Today there were a couple of additional problems with the current server, not terribly major but enough to frustrate me to the point of doing more research on alternatives.
The result of my research is that I have decided to move, and am initiating the move this evening. Hopefully all of this will be transparent to you, and you will not see any blips in service. However, it could take a few days for the transfer to be totally complete, and it may prevent me from blogging until the transfer really is complete. So, it could be as late as Wednesday before I post my next article, although I seriously doubt that it will take that long. You could even see a new article Monday.
Also, note that any comments made between now and when the new server is up and running will more than likely get lost. If this happens to you, let me know after the dust settles.
Anyway, I wanted to give you a heads-up that I am doing this. I think this will ultimately be better for all of us. Wish me luck.
