Update: Finally got the upgrade to work. I downgraded back to WordPress 2.3.3, then upgraded to the latest beta, 2.6-bleeding. All works fine now.
This morning I upgraded my blogging platform to WordPress 2.5 … it has not gone well. At the time of this writing, the following appears at the top of each page:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/keenerli/public_html/wp-includes/widgets.php on line 654
And, as if that weren’t frustrating enough, my previous site design seems to be having an even harder time adjusting, so I am using a new design that I recently purchased and have not even finished testing.
All this comes while I am still in the midst of a consulting project that is heavy on analysis, making it more difficult that usual for me to have the brainpower for developing blog material that I am happy with. So, I hope you will bear with me for another week or so until I finish that project off. I do have some posts scheduled (including one in the morning), but do not have the stockpile of draft posts that I would like to have.
I hope to get the WordPress upgrade problems resolved today. It may take a few days to add useful content to the sidebars of this new design (such as a list of popular posts and so on), but we will get there with it. I appreciate your understanding. Indeed, I appreciate all of you very much, and I value your comments and insights and suggestions.
If you are a blogger who has already solved the issue I am having with the upgrade, I’d love to hear from you.
Finally, please let me know your thoughts on this new design, especially if you have any problems with it. Thank you very much.

Hi Uri,
I sent an email to you with the following information, which I hope helps you:
What I did was to downgrade back to 2.3.3 and then upgrade to the very latest version of WP 2.6-bleeding (the 3/30 version). When I upgraded, I forced my FTP client to overwrite every file except those in WP-CONTENT.
I initially tried downgrading and then going back to WP 2.5, but that did not solve it. Going to 2.6-bleeding did.
You can find the latest build by searching in Google for WordPress Nightly Builds. Again, the 3/30 version seemed to do the trick for me.
Best wishes with this. Let me know how it goes.
