Leo Babauta, creator of the fabulously popular site Zen Habits, has just released a new ebook: Zen Habits Handbook for Life.
When I read it, I was amazed that Leo sells it for only $6.95 — it is worth way, way more than that. I think it is one of the best productivity books I have read, bar none. (The only self-improvement book I would recommend more highly is Covey’s classic The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People: it is truly life-changing.) Its 73 pages are packed with great tips, tips that really work, based not only on Leo’s experience but also on mine (it just took me a lot longer to learn them than it did Leo).
Leo is an incredible testament to the philosophy and practices that he writes about: he used these practices to go from a “no-name” blogger to one of the top bloggers in the world in a relatively short time. But, it’s not about how to be a blogger. It’s about how to be successful at whatever you do, and it’s about how to have happiness.
You can buy Leo’s book at the above link. Or, you can buy it via PayPal using the link below: I like the book so much that I decided to become an affiliate for Leo.
Be prepared for good reading, and recognize that this is a book you will want to refer to often: it’s not just another re-hash of GTD, it’s a whole framework for living.
One final thing: the book is provided in the popular PDF format, so you do not need any special software to view it. Please let me know if you encounter any problems with purchasing it (brucekeener [at] gmail.com).
