What Are Your Favorite Blogs?

Ryan Caldwell at Performancing is running the 2007 Performancing Blog Awards, where we can vote for our favorite blogs. I encourage you to head over there and give your favorites a vote. There are several good choices in the various categories, with the most coveted being Best Overall Blog. I think Leo is a cinch to win this one.

After you do your voting, I would appreciate some input from you: I would like to know what your favorite blogs are and why. I would like to learn what I can from them. I certainly do not expect to ever be nominated for any blogging awards — I would have to work at it full time and be a lot more talented than I am to get there. Plus, there is way too much great competition for me to ever be near the top.

But, I do want to continually improve this site. Hence, your feedback can help me do that, and this should also help me to help you. If you could answer the following, I would appreciate it:

  • Which sites consistently provide the most useful content to you?
  • Which sites are the most readable, in terms of layout, fonts, and colors?

Of course, I also welcome any specific recommendations you may have.

I have been at this for about 10 months now. There have been plenty of times when I thought about just calling it quits. All too often I ask myself, “what can I write about?” and the answer seems to come back as nuthin. There is bound to come a time when I will run out of things to say.

But, good comments continue to roll in and traffic and feed subscriptions are continuing to build. So I will certainly keep trying to give material to you, and hope that you find it useful and informative. And, hopefully, with your input, I can learn from other blogs.

Have a great weekend, folks!
