Best Wishes for the Weekend

I’d like to take this opportunity to wish all of you the best for the weekend. I hope your weekend is safe and pleasant and that you enjoy every minute of it.

Right now I am going through a bit of a “blogger’s block,” or writer’s block as it is more commonly called. I know many of you prefer technical posts to the ones where I share some views on life, but honestly there is nothing technically going on right now that interests me. Oh, there are a few little stories I could point you to, like the fact that WebIS plans on making Pocket Informant available for BlackBerry’s this winter. But, I can’t think of anything technical to really write about right now. If you have ideas or requests, I’d be happy to hear them.

I am in the midst of reading 90 Minutes in Heaven: A True Story of Death & Life, and I expect to have a lot to say about on it Monday or Tuesday. I am taking a lot of notes, because the book actually has little to say about heaven, but has a whole lot to say about living on earth. The author, a minister who is believed to have been clinically dead for 90 minutes and spent more than a year in bed recovering from major surgery, has some great insights. He has also refreshed my memory on some things I have learned over my 58 years, and I look forward to sharing all of these insights and thoughts.

Finally, I am still trying to find a design that really looks professional. I have added a graphic header to the current design in an attempt to increase its attractiveness, but I am still not really happy with it. I may well go back to the CopyBlogger design before the weekend is out. I have a few technical things to do it if I do go back to it. (Update: I went ahead and switched Friday night.) Anyway, if you see me futzing around with design, please just know that I am trying to find one that has the professionalism I want to convey and that is easy to read and use.
