Update: Both problems fixed. The contact form works: I designed one that is not pretty but it is functional. And, turns out I had not introduced any problems into Paul’s theme: the culprit was a blasted WordPress plugin (WP-TextAds). Two problems, both caused by plugins. That’s part of the reason why I do not like to use plugins. Now I have gotten rid of two more of them. End Update.
Apparently my contact form is not working right. I have tried to design my own contact forms in the past and have not done well with it, so I am using a WordPress plugin to provide a contact form. However, because it is not working right, I may have to go back to designing my own.
Also I am inclined to go back to using Paul Stamatiou’s theme for this site’s design, unless enough of you tell me you like the modified Almost Spring theme better. But, as with the contact form, there are some coding problems to solve in doing that. Somewhere along the way, in making my own tweaks to Paul’s design, I have screwed something up. So, I need to debug that.
Unfortunately, both of these activities probably have to wait until tomorrow, as I have some more consulting work (supposedly) headed my way today and I will have to give it a quick turnaround.

I like this theme. Actually, I think it’s just occasional change that I like. It’s like Windows (or Linux, or…) wallpaper - I get bored with it after a week or two and a change is nice. BTW - just found your encouraging comment on my blog - thanks! Haven’t been too inspired to blog lately - I’ve been putting more of my energy and efforts into musical activities - writing, recording, playing and growing “the business”. That’s a good thing though.

Thanks much Lance. I, too, like the occasional change, and perhaps I change designs too often for most people’s taste. Still trying to find one that “is me.” I like Stammy’s pretty well, and this one, too. Glad you like this one, as I have put a lot of effort into it. It started out looking like Matt Cutts’ blog
http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/
which uses a slightly modified version of Becca Wei’s popular Almost Spring Theme. I have modified the heck out of it, so that it barely resembles the starting point.
Anyway, I am glad you are finding your creative outlet in your music. I should get more back into mine, too, I suppose, but there is only so much of me to go around: easy to get spread too thin.
Thanks again.
BTW, I figured out what was “wrong with Stammy’s theme:” nothing. It was a damned plugin, the WP-TextAds plugin to be specific. Once disabled, everything worked perfectly.
