Let the games begin

Every brain needs a break from time to time, and games are a great way to relax and to just get stuff off your mind.

I am a simple guy who likes simple games, and have loaded two that are just right for me on my Dell Axim x51v:

Bejeweled for Pocket PCs

Gamebox Asia for Pocket PCs

The top one is Bejeweled (which I also have on my Palm TX) and the bottom one is Gamebox Asia, which has a huge number of tile arrangements and various levels of difficulty. These games engage my brain just enough to challenge it a bit, thereby getting other stuff off my mind, without being so taxing that the games are stressful.

What are your favorite games?

I always load Bejeweled (on my Palms previously, now on Windows Mobile devices) and Sudoku, both from Astraware. They just make good games. Great, intuitive interfaces.

I’ll also usually put on some version of Chess. Then, maybe a few card (solitaire-type) games. I’ve never checked out Gamebox Asia, though. That looks interesting! I love the Majongg solitaire games.

You’ll love Gamebox Asia, Thomas. Also, a good reminder for me to get Sudoku … I used a trial version several months back, but didn’t purchase. Time to do so. Also, thanks for reminding me about Chess. Long, long time since I’ve played chess and it’s about time for me to get back into it.
