Musings on Apple TV

Well, Apple TV sure sounds like a winner to me. Based on how much I like my iMac and iPod, no doubt I would like Apple TV and am confident the quality would be top-notch. Unfortunately, my TVs are too old for it and I’m not inclined to go out and buy new TVs just to be able to use them with Apple TV.

I do know I’m getting tired of paying $115/month for cable TV, though, especially given that there is so little on that is worth watching. The satellite TV options sound more attractive, but the number of huge trees where I live makes satellite a non-starter for me.

I guess in time I will go the Apple TV route, once I decide to shell out some money for a compatible TV. And, in the mean time, I’ll call up my cable company to get a less-costly viewing package.

Any of you have any luck with other methods of decent TV without a lot of monthly expense?
